Curriculum

Hatha & vinyasa are two of the widely practiced yoga forms. While they share a lot of common poses the latter is slow & steady in pace focusing on alignment & poses while the latter is a fast flowing sequence focused on breath-to-pose synchronization.

During the 200 hour yoga teacher training you will practice both and also learn sequences that can be used later on in conducting your own classes after the course.

Pranayama & meditation while two different practices & yet deeply interconnected. The former prepares the mind for deeper meditation which leads the way to mental clarity thus leading to self awareness & spiritual growth. Meditation is one of the eight limbs of yoga outlined by Patanjali  & the ultimate goal of yoga.

Anti-gravity yoga uses a hammock to support traditional yoga asanas while suspended in the air. This practice helps improve flexibility, decompress the spine, and build core strength.

Understanding the body's inner structure provides a strong foundation for how yoga postures, Breathing techniques & meditation impacts each system and their interactions.

Yoga philosophy offers a brief overview of ethical codes, moral guidelines, internal practices, and breathing techniques. By the end of this 200-hour certified yoga instructor course covering whole aspects you will remember it as a  truly holistic learning experience.

The healing science Ayurveda & yoga are sister sciences which both have their roots in Vedic Tradition. Saptkaya’s 200 hour yoga instructor course will cover the overview of concepts like Doshas, Dhatus, and Mala, as well as the relationship between yoga and Ayurveda.

At Saptkaya students don’t just get certificates of being a yoga instructor they also get hands-on experience in the craft. You will observe classes, assist in sessions, practice teaching with peers or real students and receive feedback from instructors.
